‘Summer Daze’ is my family diary of holiday photographs that capture moments of summer light, heat and freedom, capturing a diversity of emotional states, fleeting experiences and a family bond.
When I am behind the lens, I become disconnected from my role in the family. Instead, I feel like I am watching a performance. Photographing my family is a chance to witness two sisters exploring and embracing the freedom that only youth can offer. And I am observing a father who otherwise seems caught up in his corporate world, allowing himself to unwind: almost.
